If caught in the dilemma of the following situation, which would you rather?
1. The person whom you HURT, TRUSTS you
2. The person whom you TRUST, HURTS you.
2. The person whom you TRUST, HURTS you.
Wise ones, which would you choose?
Personally, I think the model answer would be the latter. But a honest question, how many of us could find back the courage to throw your heart into something you knew would not last probably?
It's not as easy say choosing apples over oranges.
It's not about making ourselves feel better by knowing we are that magnanimous enough to forgo others' wrongdoings.
The fact is, if we can't do it, we don't say it.
On the other hand, hurting the people who placed their trusts in us. I know many times we didn't mean it, but it's somewhat inevitable in the real world.
Imagine you're working and you're getting so fine with your colleague. He/She sees you as a friend and tells you many personal things. (You know how boring work gets sometimes that you have to talk) One day, the boss ask if you feel he/she is a good worker, they might be a good friend, but not a good worker. And thats what you told your boss. As a result, she got fired. Taddah, you hurt someone who trusted you as a friend.
Wordy, but you get the drift.
Or worst, can you imagine your special someone. Right from the beginning he/she is very against being sweet verbally to friends of the opposite sex. One day, you found out that he/she went back on what them said. Them themselves text/say sweet nothings to the opposite sex. What do you call this? Is this an infringement of the trust placed in them? The ideology that they instilled in you, telling you it's not acceptable to do such things, and yet they commit such acts themselves. How would you feel?
If you don't fucking like what is being done to you,
THEN,
DONT,
FUCKING,
DO IT.
For both cases, I only can say:
1. Know where you stand. Trust isn't build just like that. A simple mistake could cause something that used up years to built.
2. Know what are we worth.
All in all, we know that we're gonna get hurt anyway. It only matters when we find someone worth suffering for. Of course, that someone must be in the same tune as you.
Of course, I hope this is just a passing phase. Bad days happen to the best of us.
